Reconstruction of an apartment in a panel house

The previous owners of the apartment in the panel building only carried out the necessary maintenance of the apartment, and the new residents decided on a total reconstruction that would meet the requirements for the current housing. The practical layout of the apartment did not require a drastic change. A spacious niche in the corridor made it possible to remove the built-in wardrobes to create a work corner for two people. The major construction intervention was the demolition of the window connecting the small kitchen with the dining room, which is part of the living room. Following the replacement of the windows, an air conditioning unit with recuperation and fresh air distribution to all rooms was installed.
